I sadly moved from Frontier coverage back in June and had to use Xfinity...not a bad connection, but their Customer Service is terrible. I was able to move again and back into Frontier territory, just 2.5 miles away.... The price was better, the CS was far superior and was happy to be back with them. The technician called early to see if he could come earlier than the appointment and was very courteous and professional. He even informed me that because of a disagreement with ABC local Channel 4 that they were not carrying it any any longer....weird if you ask me for a big Cable provider not to have a National Channel on their line up...nonetheless I was warned ahead of time. The technician too 8 hours to do a proper and well done job to install 4 outlets and two new wireless units so that we wouldn't have to put in cable outlets. He was great and more than courteous and I would recommend Frontier over the other brand anytime. By the way...I was able to solve the channel 4 issue with a flat $20 antenna for HDepot and the reception is perfect.

At first I didn't understand why I had to have a tech come out and install my wireless, because I've done them many times. But the technician (sorry I don't remember his name) explained that in my case he needed to activate the phone line in the main "box." He received a signal from the central office and I was up and running! He was very kind and professional, and told me that there was fiber run to all the buildings in the complex, but never brought to the individual units. I wish we could use it! He was so nice and very informative, and it was nice to chat with someone about telecommunications. Also, he called first thing in the morning and asked when was a good time to come out and when I said, "now," he showed up within a half hour. Thanks for your service!

I took a day off work to stay home for the installation appointment. (8am-5pm) No one showed up. I called and rescheduled and took another day off work. Nobody showed up until 5:15PM. ( I didn't need to take the day off) The only reason I gave 2 stars is that the tech who did the installation was really helpful and stayed until 11:30PM to make sure everything was working. Frontier really needs to have more techs available. I'm guessing this guy got more than a days pay in OT for the time he spent setting up my house.

Took day off work, no show. Received 4 different calls confirming appointment the previous days. Had appointment 8-12, received automated call at 10:30 that my appointment was rescheduled 5 days later. I called customer service, but they didn't have any openings. They rescheduled my appointment for Monday, but I didn't receive any calls confirming so I wasn't sure. I received call early Monday, and tech confirmed. He showed up, completed the install professionally. I can't setup my account yet, that takes a day apparently, but customer service was prompt and helpful when I called. I was searching for great, easy, and local internet service. After doing copious amount of research, I went with Frontier for price and speed. Setting it up, over the phone, was a breeze and the customer service rep was helpful and informative, not pushy or tried to sell me on something I did not need. My installation appointment was between 12-5pm, and I was almost certain the installer would come at 4:59pm due to previous experience with other companies. To my surprise, he called me at 12:30pm stating he would arrive at 12:50pm. Set up was easy and the he was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I can't say enough good things!

When I called Frontier to ask about TV, internet and phone service it took quite awhile to subscribe. Then I was transferred to Dish since Frontier doesn't offer TV service in our area. That was another long discussion. Frontier was scheduled for a Sunday installation but I received a phone message saying they couldn't make it (this, after waiting around for hours). The technicians called first thing Monday morning. They were efficient and competent and professional. When I mentioned the one day delay they said Frontier regularly under-scheduled technicians on weekends. I am retired so the Monday installation was not a problem. If I was still working it would have been a pain in the you-know-what. Internet service is not fast, but altogether I'm satisfied.

The scheduling was originally on July 5th 8-12pm when my husband initiated the call. However I received a confirmation saying for some reason July 5th was not in the system and the earliest possible time was July 9th 8-12pm. This was not anticipated and messed up with our schedules. On July 9th, the installation was completed on time and no hassle.

I ordered the service on a Thursday, expecting the router in about 5 days. The first rep I spoke to was very helpful and sounded he had everything set up and ready for me to get things started once I receive the router. Unfortunately, I get a call 6 later saying they needed a deposit (which I thought was tKen cared on my first contact with the rep). Nonetheless, the second rep said she would escalate it, fix the issue and get the router to me in 2 days and that I should be able to connect once I go through the self-install steps. I received the router as promised..I was ecstatic. But, after completing the self-install I was still unable to connect. Something about having my telephone line turned which won't happen till 5:00 pm that day. I was told to try and connect till then and if unsuccessful to give them a call back. At 6pm, I was still not receiving service. I called and was told that the switch was supposed to be turned on but it wasn't ..another escalation. By Sunday (2days later), I tried to connect again and was finally able to get an internet connection. For customer service, I give Frontier a 4 (out of 5). They tried fixing the problem, escalated properly, and we're friendly and knowledgeable. Internal communication, I give them 3 for not knowing what is going on internally. As far as connectivity, I give them a 5. It's been 5 days now using the internet and I have not had any issues, drops, or any of that sort. I wish cable tv is available via other options besides installing a satellite which is not allowed by my property management. So far so good, I am a satisfied customer (after being an unsatisfied 7 year customer of Comcast). Keep up the great customer service Frontier!

The technicians did a great job of setting up my DVR and HD boxes at the house. I was a little disappointed in Frontiers setup on my new account. I spent several hours on the phone as Frontier searched for my new account info.

Internet is fast and TV is good for the price. TV could be better if the guide and search features were improved . They could easily link the non HD channel to the HD version. They could also sort sports or other categories out better. like sports then soccer football baseball etc..
